Austin, we miss you already. Yes, our SXSW Saloon may have come to a close, but we still have a ton to share from the festivities! Hopefully by now you caught a glimpse of some of the awesome celebrities that swung by our stage in our previous recaps, but in case you missed it: All weekend long we—along with our pals at Geek & Sundry and Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls—hosted a raucous Saloon at Banger’s Sausage House and Beer Garden, with a Powerpuff Girls photo station, Funimation’s new anime streaming service, live SXSW interviews, board games, The CW’s Containment outbreak center, and even a puppy petting and adoption area. PUPPIES, guys!
Throughout the weekend, we had guests like Danny McBride and Walton Goggins, the cast of Silicon Valley, Rooster Teeth, Tatiana Maslany and Tom Cullen, Jake Gyllenhaal, and more, and we did not slow things down by the time Sunday hit. Dan Casey, our trusty host extraordinaire, was once again on the ground to fill you in on all the cool guests from Day 3, including Anna Kendrick and Adam DeVine for Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, the casts of Outcast and Preacher, Gillian Jacobs, Keegan Michael-Key, and so much more.
