Pilot Your Dreams with Poe Dameron Body Pillows

Wedge who? Sorry/not sorry, Wedge, but Poe Dameron has made more than a few of us forget about you. Poe proved his piloting skills and general adorableness in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Oscar Isaac made the character all the more endearing by positively oozing charm during the media storm leading up to the release of the movie. The best pilot in the galaxy didn’t just deliver the final blow to Starkiller Base; he also jumped into hyperspace with our hearts. To that end, crafters are coming up with some unique Poe merchandise–merchandise like body pillows.

The idea of curling up with a body-length Poe Dameron is the best thing I’ve heard so far this year. Artist Brilcrist worked on two designs for the giant pillowcases. There’s a smoldering, inviting Poe and an, uh, bound version.

Yes, Poe is allowed to bring his pilot helmet into bed. No, “helmet” isn’t a euphemism.

Brilcrist knows her body pillows. She’s made pillowcases featuring several characters and takes commissions. The pillowcases are washable, and production takes about a week. If you’re feeling a need to add Poe Dameron pillows to your bed, you can get on Brilcrist’s list until January 15. Her email is listed at Tumblr, and she’ll get you details on costs. Based on her past work, pillows start at $250–that may be for custom commissions only, though, so be sure to reach out to her.

If you could curl up with a body pillow depicting any character from The Force Awakens, who would it be? Let me know in the comments. I won’t judge–unless you say Unkar Plutt.
