Kodak goes Mobile for April Fools’ Day

Let’s face it: in our busy everyday lives, no one has time to stop and smell the roses, let alone print out all of their photos. So it makes sense that the Kodak Picture Kiosk Dashboard for your car is a reality. Except, it’s not a reality, but rather a fabulous April Fools’ Day prank–one you may desire to be a real product.

Kodak states that their Picture Kiosk Dashboard can be easily installed into any car with a range of colors and trims available for customization. Said to be “only limited by your imagination and the amount of print media you can fit in your trunk,” this idea of a literal mobile printing service could actually come in handy in the real world. Just check out a few uses that Kodak offers up that seem pretty convincing:

“Never lose your car in a parking lot again. Print out a picture of your car to document where it is parked and place the print in your pocket or purse. Problem solved!”

“Amuse the children on those long car trips by printing out photos of them arguing, fighting, and making faces at each other.”

“Print apology cards with a “sorry I parked so badly” message and your most sincere “Regret Selfie” to put on someone’s car that you totally blocked in an over filled parking lot.”

“Need to send another driver a subtle suggestion on how they can improve their driving skills and like to keep both hands on the wheel? Take a photo of your most helpful hand gesture, print it out, and keep it handy.”

A definite “Yes” to that last one. Kodak has a website to promote the product. Nicely done.
