Comedy Playlist: Friend Therapy, a Prison Yard, and an April Fools’ No-Prank Pledge

Gadzooks! It’s already spring and April is just around the corner. Why are we aging so quickly? Why does cooked cabbage smell like sewer? Will you do my taxes for me? None of these questions are answered here today, but I do have a rockin’ playlist for you. You will enjoy some proper Friend Therapy care of Cream. You will meet a most perplexing criminal in Hush Money’s Prison Yard. Plus, a web exclusive from Last Week Tonight offers up an impassioned stance against April Fools’ Day. Smile!

Cream is not just the stuff you slather all over yourself at night. (You look great, by the way.) The other Cream is an LA based sketch and improv team that entertains folks around the globe with their awesome videos. Members Sergio Cilli, Casey Feigh, Betsy Sodaro and Jacob Womack can either be seen performing at the UCB, contributing on a friendly digital network or appearing on programs like Animal Practice, Key & Peele, Comedy Bang! Bang!, Happy Endings, The Late Late Show, Funny or Die Presents and more. In their latest series, Friend Therapy, the “focus” of therapy session gets completely lost. So THAT’S how you pronounce Focus!

Let us say “goodbye” to the couch and “hello” to a place no one ever wants to find themselves, the Prison Yard. Our old pals Hush Money show us that some new kids on the cell block will spin quite a tale to seem dangerous (so we think).

Psych! Let’s tickle that brain of yours a bit more with some April Fools’ Day fun care of Last Week Tonight. In lieu of being off the air for a bit, John Oliver gifted the Internet with a not so serious discussion of that awful holiday known as April Fools’. The host is adamant that anyone who revels in the customary diabolical antics most assuredly is a bit touched in the head. To ensure that the practical jokes cease this April 1st, Oliver encourages his fans to take the “No-Prank Pledge.” You know you wanna!

Will you still be planning a prank this April Fools’ Day despite the warnings? (Cough cough.) Tell us below.
