The universe’s most beloved bunch of a-holes will return to theaters everywhere in less than two months. While the wait might seem excruciating, we’ll try to help it pass by quickly here at Movie Morsels. Today, we’ve got a new TV spot for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, along with a fresh batch of photos. Plus, video from the set of Black Panther, word on a possible Beauty and the Beast prequel (!), and much more…
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
Before we get into our latest look at writer-director James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, you’ll want to check out yesterday’s Nerdist News if you’ve not already done so. We ask the question on everyone’s minds: Who will Sylvester Stallone play in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2?!
Now then… The following Guardians 2 TV spot features a rather endearing new pet name that Rocket has for Star-Lord. Like most of Rocket’s witticisms, we suspect it’s one little kids will be quoting in schoolyards for a long time to come, much to their teacher’s chagrin…
In other Guardians 2 news, Empire magazine has given the film the cover of their latest issue, which features some exclusive new photos inside…

Beauty and the Beast
The tale as old as time continues. While Disney is saying there won’t be a sequel to its new live-action Beauty and the Beast, the Mouse House isn’t ruling out the possibility of expanding the universe. In a new interview with Deadline, the studio’s president of production Sean Bailey says Disney might consider “possible spinoff and prequel scenarios.” Anyone up for a Lumiere solo film?

Black Panther
Coming Soon has drawn our attention to the industrious folks who’ve shot photos and videos of the Black Panther‘s production in South Korea. In the following footage, T’Challa can be seen riding the hood of a car during a high-speed chase. Who is he chasing, and why? I’m sure we’ll learn more soon.
My Cousin Rachel
Daphne du Maurier’s stories have served as the basis for some of the screen’s greatest thrillers, including The Birds and Rebecca. So it warms my heart to know that a new generation will soon discover the author’s work through the period potboiler My Cousin Rachel. Starring Rachel Weisz, the suddenly very busy Sam Claflin, Cinderella‘s Holliday Grainger, and Game of Thrones‘ Iain Glen, the film’s trailer is one of the best I’ve seen in recent months…
Power Rangers
Finally today… In case you needed further proof that he’s one of the coolest actors working today, Bryan Cranston visited Stephen Colbert dressed as the Power Rangers‘ Red Ranger.
