Before we get into our latest look at writer-director James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, you’ll want to check out yesterday’s Nerdist News if you’ve not already done so. We ask the question on everyone’s minds: Who will Sylvester Stallone play in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2?!

Now then… The following Guardians 2 TV spot features a rather endearing new pet name that Rocket has for Star-Lord. Like most of Rocket’s witticisms, we suspect it’s one little kids will be quoting in schoolyards for a long time to come, much to their teacher’s chagrin…

Beauty and the Beast

The tale as old as time continues. While Disney is saying there won’t be a sequel to its new live-action Beauty and the Beast, the Mouse House isn’t ruling out the possibility of expanding the universe. In a new interview with Deadline, the studio’s president of production Sean Bailey says Disney might consider “possible spinoff and prequel scenarios.” Anyone up for a Lumiere solo film?

Black Panther

Coming Soon has drawn our attention to the industrious folks who’ve shot photos and videos of the Black Panther‘s production in South Korea. In the following footage, T’Challa can be seen riding the hood of a car during a high-speed chase. Who is he chasing, and why? I’m sure we’ll learn more soon.
