You Can Now Turn Your Fridge Into a Giant Game Boy

Play the Game Boy Micro, the most recent hardware entry in the Game Boy line, or even the New Nintendo 3DS XL, the newest Nintendo handheld, then put your hands on an original Game Boy. Doesn’t that thing feel huge? Unless you are NBA rookie and giant-handed human Jahlil Okafor—which you are probably not—then it certainly does. If you are Jahlil Okafor, then welcome, thanks for reading and we wish you good luck with the Philadelphia 76ers!

Also, we have some good news for you: You can (sort of) have a Game Boy that’s even bigger than the gargantuan original.

FreezerBoy

FreezerBoy has made some giant magnets of the Game Boy’s screen and buttons that you can stick on your refrigerator and turn it into a 6-foot, 200-pound, non-functioning Game Boy. If you’ve still hung on to your Game Boy from the 80s, odds are that your younger self wasn’t thinking much about the future, so you treated the thing roughly and are now left with a broken plastic brick. The fridge isn’t really a step down in terms of functionality. Actually, it can store your food and prevent it from spoiling, which is great for sustaining your life!

The rules of magnets of course apply to FreezerBoy, so go ahead and see if it looks good on your washing machine, your car, a dumpster, a suit of armor, or anything else big and metal. This is all fantastic, but we’ll be more impressed when somebody figures out how to make a FreezerBoy that actually plays games.

We’re looking at you, genius readers: get on it!
