Fallout 4…it’s finally here. It feels like we’ve been waiting for this game for so long, but we are now less than 24 hours from launch.
I know you must be anxious to take the controller and finally roam the brutal post-apocalyptic Boston. But, you may want to brush up on your Fallout 3 knowledge before embarking on the newest installment’s epic quest. Don’t worry, we’ve got your back. Our very own Malik Forté is here to tell you what went down in Fallout 3 in the latest episode of What You Missed by Not Playing.
Alright, so the world is not all rainbows and sunshine anymore. It’s actually quite the opposite. You live in Vault 101 with a small community of people, shielded from the madness that is the wasteland. Your dad disappears, though, so naturally you go out to find him.
When you leave your little community, you escape into post-apocalyptic Washington DC, which is filled with all sorts of dangerous creatures. You start a chain of events that could lead to completing a project your dad started that will purify the radiated water, making the wasteland a bit more livable. Once you find pops, you inch closer to completing his work, and making a difference in this unforgiving land.
In true video game fashion, things go to hell, and you must survive all sorts of dangers. Don’t worry, though; you complete this noble quest, but unfortunately, not everyone you met along the way will make it to the end credits.
Now, you’re ready for Fallout 4. Make sure to keep up with all of our wasteland coverage. What was your favorite aspect of this title? What was the most memorable? Let us know in the comments below.
