WELCOME TO THE SHADOW ZONE’s Season 1 Finale Is Too Good to Be True

During season one of our Alpha series Welcome to the Shadow Zone, things have not always gone the way Onyx the Fortuitous planned. In fact, even for a man who embraces the deepest depths of darkness, this entire year has been a terrible nightmare no man or demon should have to endure. But in the season one finale, things finally turned around for him. You might even say it was too good to be true. Literally.

After learning in the last episode he would have to move out of his mom’s garage, Onyx got to work on raising the money he needed to move into a sweet new loft with his best friend Jessamyn. To do that he would have to pull off the biggest concert of his life with his band Thrice Damned. And that’s just what he did, he pulled off the gig of his dreams, which was the problem. He also had time to learn some valuable lessons, like how most people don’t name their food (so beware of taking “Molly Bears”), as well as the perils of giving away your real address when you’re engaging in some online trash talk.

Poor Onyx. But hey, maybe all of these problems will lead to bigger and better opportunities for him. Things couldn’t possibly get worse…right?

If you want to find out what happens next, you’ll have to join our online interactive Alpha community. We’ve been lucky enough to share season one of Welcome to the Shadow Zone with you as part of our Nerdoween celebration (and you can find every episode here), but it’s only one of the many fantastic shows we have there. Join Alpha now and you’ll be the first to see season two when it premieres.

And just like Onyx could use a break, so you can you, that’s why your first 30 days are free.

We promise season two will be just as dark. Just as terrifying. Just as nightmarish. With Onyx, how could it not be? Literally.
