STRANGER THINGS 2 is Getting an After Show on Netflix

Millions of us have the exact same plans this weekend: binge Stranger Things 2 as fast as we can, and then talk about it with everyone we know. But now Netflix will give us a way to discuss the latest happenings from the Upside Down without having to step away from our screens, because the streaming site is pairing its hit horror series with its very own after show.

Netflix has announced (in news we first saw at THR) that when Stranger Things 2 drops this Friday on October 27th, it will be accompanied by Beyond Stranger Things. “Super fan” Jim Rash, best known as Dean Pelton on Community, will host the show, which will “explore the inspiration for the series, tell behind-the-scenes stories, and analyze every aspect of the second season—answering all burning questions.”

But unlike most after shows, which air after individual episodes, Beyond Stranger Things is meant to be watched after you see the entire season, and will automatically begin when you watch the season finale. So expect plenty of spoiler talk throughout.

Guests will include the show’s creators the Duffer Brothers, executive producer Shawn Levy, and cast members Sean Astin, Linnea Berthelsen, Millie Bobby Brown, Natalia Dyer, Brett Gelman, David Harbour, Randy Havens, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Dacre Montgomery, Paul Reiser, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, and Finn Wolfhard.

So, basically everyone.

At last, a way to talk about Stranger Things while still watching more Stranger Things! Are you going to watch this? Tell us why in the comments below.
