Stan Lee vs. Jim Henson Closes Out EPIC RAP BATTLES OF HISTORY Season 4

The end of Epic Rap Battles of History Season 4 is upon us! But before the team behind the hit YouTube series goes on tour, there’s still one last battle on the docket for the fourth season finale: Stan Lee vs. Jim Henson!

Epic Rap Battles of History co-creator, EpicLLOYD [a.k.a. Lloyd Ahlquist] appears as Stan Lee, the comic book icon who co-created most of Marvel Comics’ most memorable superheroes including Spider-Man, the Hulk, Iron Man, the Avengers, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, the Silver Surfer, the Inhumans, and dozens of other characters. Lee is one of the last living legends in comics, but there is some lingering controversy over Lee’s co-creation of the Marvel heroes with artist Jack Kirby, which is touched upon in the video.

The late, great Jim Henson is portrayed by the other Epic Rap Battles of History co-creator, Nice Peter [aka Peter Shukoff], with an assist from Kermit the Frog! Henson was a very talented writer, artist, and puppeteer who created The Muppets and Fraggle Rock, in addition to developing characters for the long-running Sesame Street TV series. Henson also veered towards older skewing stories in the feature films The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth.

Zach Sherwin also appears in the season finale as a deceased multimedia overlord who has no need to rap battle…because he’s already won!

The ERB YouTube channel has every episode from the first four seasons available for viewing. But, if you want to see the ERB team perform live, the nationwide tour begins in Los Angeles on Sunday, August 16, 2015. After that, ERB will drop into 29 other U.S. cities, before going across the Atlantic Ocean with concerts in several cities throughout Europe.

Nerdist readers: who won the ERB fourth season finale? It’s judgment day in the comment section below!
