Paul Rudd and the Cast of ANT-MAN Play ‘Ant Fact or Man Fact’

How well do the cast members of Marvel’s Ant-Man really know the subject matter? How well do they know their co-star Paul Rudd? How can we determine this authoritatively once and for all? Easy — we’ll make them play a little game called “Ant Fact or Man Fact.” The rules are as follows — I read a fact aloud and the contestant must answer whether this is a fact about an ant or about Ant-Man star Paul Rudd.

For example: “This person or insect uses its head to plug the entrances to their nests and keep intruders from gaining access.” [Source]

Seems simple, right? You’d be surprised. Naturally, at a recent press day for Ant-Man, I put stars Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, Michael Peña, David Dastmalchian, T.I., Paul Rudd, and director Peyton Reed to the test. Let’s just say that, by the end of it, at least one of them was bugging out. No, I won’t apologize for that pun. You apologize to me. Or let’s at least agree to disagree.

Listen, this may be the dumbest, but most enjoyable thing I’ve done in an interview since making Chris Pratt play “Fornicate, Marry, Kill” with dinosaurs in honor of Jurassic World. But the world had to know, and now people can rest easy that all the facts are out there.

Of course, if you prefer traditional interviews, keep your eyes peeled for my interview with the cast of Ant-Man, and our review of the upcoming Marvel movie right here on Nerdist.

Ant-Man opens everywhere on July 17.
