Mark Ruffalo’s Kids Attack When He Steals Their Halloween Candy

Every year for Halloween, Jimmy Kimmel loves to have his audience prank their children. The subsequent videos sent to Jimmy Kimmel Live! and usually end exactly how one would expect: crying children and laughing parents.Because what’s funnier than totally distraught kids, right? (Answer: not much.) And last night Mark Ruffalo upped the parental ante when he paid a visit to Kimmel’s show, and revealed he had a prank video of his own to share.

As the video at the top shows, Ruffalo decided to have a little fun with Kimmel’s prank concept. Given that his children were the ones who first clued the actor in on the annual tradition, instead of accepting being the target of the prank, they quickly attacked him over the loss of their candy. Unfortunately, not even turning into The Hulk could save Ruffalo from the onslaught of tiny fists and sugar-free screams.

Sure, there are worse things in this world than parents pranking their children, but this prank has always come across as a wee bit mean-spirited in my eyes (but my eyes are also made of Neco Wafers, so take that with a grain of sugar). So it was nice, in my opinion, to see Ruffalo make himself the butt of the joke by letting his children fight back. While Ruffalo may not be the mega-star some of his Avengers counterparts are, being a good dad can be every bit as classy as taking ill fans to movie premieres.
