Hitler’s Dream, Brad Pitt, Goes BETWEEN TWO FERNS WITH ZACH GALIFIANAKIS and Louis C.K.

Have you ever wondered if, when Brad Pitt saw Angelina Jolie, he had a Ross and Rachel (from Friends) sorta draw to her? Well you’re in luck because Zach Galifianakis’ latest guest on Between Two Ferns, was asked exactly those sorts of questions — when he wasn’t being interrupted by Louis C.K. stand-up, of course.

The endearingly awkward interview series followed-up its truly fascinating interview with President Barack Obama with the metaphorical president of Hollywoodtown and Attractive Actorpeople, Brad Pitt (Or Bart Pit, the hero in 12 Years a Salve — a truly heart-balming story if ever we’ve heard one — if you want to get technical about it). The two discussed the deep questions, like “Why do you hate showers?” and “Do you mind if I borrow one or two of your sperms?” in addition to philosophizing on Pitt’s life-long struggle of being “Hitler’s Dream.” We all learn very quickly that life is pret-ty, pret-ty hard for poor ol’ Brad Pitt.

But it wasn’t all hard-hitting investigative journalism on display — Galifianakis managed to keep things light with a musical interlude (The Rembrandts’ “I’ll Be There For You”) and a bit of stand-up comedy from Louis C.K. Naturally, talk of fellow Dapper Dan George Clooney, Pitt’s charity work, and his “bassoon use” are also topics of conversation. Barbara Walters, eat your heart out.

What IS clear is the winner of the facial hair battle that’s quietly happening on-screen while these two talk. Clearly — sorry, Zach — Brad Pitt’s jaunty mustache reigns supreme.

Which Between Two Ferns is your favorite? Let’s discuss in the comments!
