What It’s Like When Your Coworker is Way Too into Halloween

Though we love Halloween (and celebrate all month long here) at Nerdist HQ, there is such a thing as “too much.” Now, we know what you’re thinking. “Too much Halloween? How dare you! We trusted you! You were our brother, Anakin!” Well, we’re sorry, but sometimes the only thing we hate more than sand is when people take their passion for thrills, chills, and the gastronomic abomination known as candy corn too far and constantly shove it in your face. Unfortunately, just like how there’s one person in every office who doesn’t watch Game of Thrones, there’s one person who takes their passion for All Hallow’s Eve a little too far.

Look, we get it. We love horror movies, spooky science, terrifying anime, and creeptacular jack-o-lanterns, but there’s a time and a place. And sometimes that place isn’t the inside of my morning coffee, which you surreptitiously replaced with human blood for the sake of preserving your aesthetic. Or maybe I’m just being a ‘Ween Grinch, and I need my heart to grow three sizes so I can fit more candy inside of it.

What do you think? Are you the person that likes Halloween way too much? Do you have a friend like this? Share your tales of terror in the comments below.
