You know, there’s doing adorable things for children, doing adorable things in interviews, doing adorable dinosaur things just because you’re a fan of dinosaurs, and then there’s Chris Pratt, who continues to make our hearts go pitter-patter with his latest good deeds. Over the weekend, the Jurassic World star visited the kids at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital outside Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In case you didn’t know, he has a pretty good track record with kids who are in need of a little cheering up.
If you’ve been on the internet in the last week, you probably saw the wildly popular meme going around of zookeepers the world over “taming” their charges in the style of Pratt’s Owen in Jurassic World. Of course no one could let the good meme die because…it wouldn’t be a meme. So Pratt went to Our Lady of the Lake and “tamed” some kids. The internet just about died when they saw the pictures, which were posted on the hospital’s Facebook page before being discovered by the Reddit community.

But let’s be real for a minute here and remember that Pratt was volunteering at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital to cheer up some kids who are traveling tough roads of recovery and treatment. Aside from the fun posed picture, he also took the time to spend some quality time with them, and that’s what really matters in the end.
