Bill Nye Reaction GIFs for Any Occasion

Consider the following: twenty years ago Bill Nye the Science Guy imprinted many of our childhoods with a unique mix of intelligence and humor. Today, he’s an icon of science communication, the CEO of the largest public space organization, The Planetary Society, and…uploading reaction GIFs of himself to Imgur? Alright!

In honor of a successful petition to congress to include funding for a mission to Jupiter’s moon Europa, he and the Planetary Society gave the world a video to GIF to our heart’s content. Going the extra mile and making this truly the GIF that keeps on GIFing, they’ve already made a few and put their collection of reaction GIFs on Imgur. All he asks in return is if you’d consider joining The Planetary Society in order to continue their work.

Would you consider joining the The Planetary Society for… let’s say…

Happy Bill Nye?

If that didn’t make you want to join it’d probably make him sad…

We’ll refrain from listing each of the many GIFs with lead-in comments but know that joining The Planetary Society is likely one of the coolest science-related things you can do — your contributions really do matter. With our help, the society successfully launched a spacecraft that sails on light! The stuff we’ll eventually learn from their work and public advocacy will surely blow everyone’s minds!
