21 Warner Bros. TV Shows Are Coming to Comic-Con 2016

The complete programming schedule for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con International hasn’t been released yet, but there’s already talk that some of the movie studios are possibly skipping the show. However, it appears that the television panels may pick up the slack, as Warner Bros. TV has announced an ambitious plan to bring 21 shows to Comic-Con!

WB’s full court press on Comic-Con attendees on Wednesday, July 20th for the annual Preview Night screenings. This year’s pilots screenings will include Riverdale, Powerless, People of Earth, Frequency, Time After Time, Justice League Action, and a new episode of Teen Titans Go!, all of which will be shown in Ballroom 20. Thursday, July 21 will be a relatively light day, with spotlight panels for Teen Titans Go! and Justice League Action.

On Friday, July 22, the annual Big Bang Theory panel will be in Ballroom 20, which is also hosting panels for returning favorites The 100 and iZombie. New series, People of Earth and Powerless will be featured in Room 6CBF.

Saturday, July 23 is going to be the big day for WB TV. And we mean big! While the last two years have featured a giant DC TV panel in Hall H, it’s not a single panel this year. Instead, Supergirl is kicking things off in Ballroom 20 at 3:30pm, with DC’s Legends of Tomorrow following at 4:15pm, The Flash at 5pm, and Arrow at 5:45pm. Given that there’s a crossover coming up for all four shows, it seems likely that the combined cast members will make at least one simultaneous onstage appearance and possibly tease some story details about that crossover.

The DC Entertainment shows on Fox, Lucifer and Gotham will have back-to-back panels starting at 1:30pm in the Indigo Ballroom, which will also have panels for Blindspot and The Originals earlier on Saturday. The CW’s three freshmen dramas, Riverdale, Frequency, and Time After Time will go back-to-back-to-back in Room 6BCF starting at 6:30PM. Perennial Comic-Con fan-favorite, The Vampire Diaries is going solo this year in Ballroom 20 at 11am.

Finally, Supernatural will wrap things up on Sunday, July 24 with its annual Hall H panel at 11:15am. And in a special treat for fans, Animaniacs Live! will be the 21st WB show at Comic-Con, and it will be performed at 3pm in a room to be announced.
