awesome ep, but I was a little confused by what Pete meant when he said that he doesn’t trust people who say “I love music” or “I love art”.

  2. Slipp says:

    This was pleasant. Thanks.

  3. Lisa says:

I just wanted to say that song you played at the beginning was amazing and beautiful. I legitimately welled up with happy tears during the song and listened to it at least 5 times in a row. The episode itself was lovely, too. Sara seems like such a beautiful soul and Pete was his wonderful self as per usual. Thanks for this, guys.

  4. John G. says:

Pete, thank you for bringing Ryan Gosling’s music to my attention. I went right to Spotify and listened to them, Dead Man’s Bones. They’re great. The children’s choir is used to good effect rather than being creepy. Well, mostly not creepy.

I also listened to your new album on Spotify. Did you get the 3 cents?

  5. Tyler says:

*shudder* Children’s choirs… they can most definitely be beaten.

  6. Ian says:

    Album purchased. Yours too, Pete

  7. Pierre says:

LOVE Sara. ‘Sun Midnight Sun’ was one of my favourite albums last year.

  8. C. Stuewe says:

    Pete,

This such a great interview. You really let Sara open up and I feel like the audience really got to know her.

  9. Rieley says:

This damn podcast, I grew up Christian and now trying to figure it out(relatable with podcast(RWP)), I am 6’5″ (slightly RWP), I am attempting to get into stand-up (this podcast is helpful), and I am a banjo, mandolin, and guitar player because of Nickel Creek (now freaking RWP),

Pete Holmes get out of my damn head!

  10. Tom says:

Sara is one of my top 5 artists of right now.

  11. frankmint says:

Best Episode. I always liked her, now I love her. Thank you.

  12. Gene says:

Sara is a delight. Great episode!

  13. TheDombkowski says:

Next week: “Local peruvian flute band makes it weird!”

  14. Teague Dwyer says:

Sara is one of my favorite people in show business. Can’t wait to hear this.

  15. Chris says:

I haven’t gotten too far into the episode but I’m very excited about the first musician guest. I want more of this!
