Yay or Nay? So Far it’s ‘YAY!’ for DAREDEVIL

Well, it’s been almost 48 hours and so far the consensus on Daredevil is pretty darn good. Currently sitting at 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, Daredevil has ironically helped the Marvel Cinematic Universe enter the “dark and gritty” on a very bright note. Our own Scott Weinberg agrees, and you can read his review of episodes 1-3 here.

Social media was abuzz all day yesterday and well into today, with #Daredevil trending worldwide almost that entire time. Here are what some of both Hollywood and the comics industry had to say: SPOILER ALERT: They sing its praises. SPOILER ALERT TWO: If you haven’t watched the show yet and want ZERO info, watch BEFORE reading.

Guardians of the Galaxy Director James Gunn

Batman writer Scott Snyder

Pacific Rim and Warcraft star Robert Kazinsky

Amazing Spider-Man and Silver Surfer writer Dan Slott

Arrow stars Katrina Law and Colin Donnell

Impractical Jokers star Brian “Q” Quinn

Comic Book Artist Phil Jimenez

Now, while he hasn’t been able to watch it yet, here’s someone who is at least excited to see it.  You may have heard of him before.

From the looks of it, it is certainly so far so good for the Guardian of Hell’s Kitchen.

All season 1 episodes of Daredevil are currently streaming on Netflix.

How about all of you? Did you love it as much as everyone here? Did you accidentally watch Hemlock Grove and wonder why Matt Murdock was a werewolf, not blind, and not called Matt Murdock (Seriously, after episode 1 you should have figured out something was wrong. The whole Hemlock Grove/Daredevil mix-up is kind of on you)? Sound off with your praise in the comments below.
