Wolverine Fills in for Han Solo in This X-MEN/STAR WARS Crossover

When it comes to unlikely heroes with attitude problems they don’t get better than Han Solo. There aren’t many characters in history cooler than our favorite scruffy-looking nerf herder, so finding another popular figure worthy of Han’s exalted status is no easy task… unless you have adamantium claws, as we found out when we had Wolverine talk with Jabba the Hutt in a Star Wars/X-Men mash-up.

In this clip from the latest episode of our Alpha series Talkin’ Toons, host Rob Paulsen welcomed Steve Blum to the show to read the “deleted” scene from A New Hope when Han convinced Jabba to give him some more time to pay off his debts. Rob read for the mobster as his old Taz-Mania character Axl Gator, with Steve filling in for Han as Wolverine, as well as other characters of his like The Legend of Korra‘s Amon, Starscream from Transformers: Prime, Zeb Orrelios from Star Wars Rebels, and more.

With Steve reading the scene as so many different characters it makes Han sound like a very disturbed lunatic. No wonder Jabba agreed to give him more time.

Remember, you can only watch the rest of this interview at our online Alpha community, where you can find full episodes of Talkin’ Toons. It’s only one of our many terrific shows there for you to enjoy, and even better if you’re not already an Alpha member, your first 30 days are free when you sign up. Which means you’ll have plenty left in your checking account to pay back Jabba.

Who would you rather hang out with: Wolverine or Han Solo? Tell us why in the comments below.
