We Request The Honor Of Your Presence at the L.A. Premiere of “Breakup at a Wedding”

BAAWinvitePOSTWe have, of course, previously established that our friends at PERIODS. films, the folks who brought you Lil Women, Viking Wives, Big City, Bright Lights, and other gems of web comedy, have created a feature film, Breakup at a Wedding, which is about exactly that, a comedy about a sham wedding covering up the embarrassing fact that the couple in question broke up but couldn’t bear to tell anyone. Complications, naturally, ensue, and things get even weirder than they expected. And funnier, for you. The movie, directed by Victor Quinaz, co-produced by (Yes That) Zachary Quinto, and written by Victor, Anna Martemucci, and Philip Quinaz, is premiering in Los Angeles next Thursday, June 20th… and you can be there.

Yes, the good folks at PERIODS. and Oscilloscope Laboratories are teaming with Nerdist Industries and The Nerdist Alliance for the L.A. premiere of Breakup at a Wedding at the Downtown Independent theater (251 S, Main Street, L.A.), June 20th at 9:30 pm with a reception to follow, and we have a limited number of free tickets available to you, the Nerdist general public. Here’s what you do: First, to attend, click here to RSVP. Please show up early, because an RSVP does not guarantee admission; Seating is limited and is on a first-come, first served basis, so get there at least 30 minutes before the start time. Oh, did we mention that Philip Quinaz, co-writer and star of the film, is an ordained minister and will be performing marriage services on site? Because he is and he will.

But you can also see the movie early, if you’re not into the event thing: You’ll find the movie available on demand or via digital download on June 18th. Get all the information you need by clicking here.
