Watch The MTV Movie Awards’ ANT-MAN Trailer Peek Now!

If you’re like me, you’re probably getting a little tired of explaining to friends that Ant-Man is not a recent knock-off of Spider-Man, but in fact one of the founding members of the Avengers, and someone as deserving of respect as any other Marvel superhero (despite the fact that he, well, can talk to ants). Good news, folks — you can start saving your breath. Because with Ant-Man movie trailers like the one that’s arriving tomorrow, the whole world will catch on to what we’ve long known soon enough. A thirty-second sneak peek of our latest look at ex-con turned costumed champion Scott Lang (played by funnyman Paul Rudd) debuted during tonight’s MTV Movie Awards. Feast your eyes on this glimpse at the action that awaits, true believers!

Ant-Man co-stars Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, Corey Stoll as the villainouns Darren Cross (AKA Yellowjacket), Bobby Cannavale as Paxton, Michael Peña as Luis, Judy Greer as Maggie, Tip “Ti” Harris as Dave, David Dastmalchian as Kurt, Wood Harris as Gale, Jordi Mollà as Castillo and the one and only Michael Douglas as the inventor of Scott Lang’s supersuit, scientist and inventor Hank Pym. Directed by Peyton Reed, the film arrives on July 17, 2015.

Word on the streets is that Ant-Man is a very satisfying, heartwarming, and well-told tale of one father’s desire to become a hero in the eyes of his daughter. But what do you folks think? Will the Ant-Man movie stand proudly alongside Iron Man, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Guardians of the Galqxy as one of Marvel Studios’ finest? Let us know below!
