Good evening. In less than an hour, Roland Emmerich will join the cast of Independence Day 2 for a very special Q&A from the set of the upcoming sequel. And they will be likely sharing some newsworthy tidbits, such as the title of the sequel (Dan Casey is pulling for Independence Day: Fifth of July, but will also settle for Independence Day Into Darkness, Look Who’s Independence Daying Now, or In2pendence) or maybe even some surprise casting (Steven Hiller, anyone?).

And should we learn something new tonight, Independence Day will no longer be known as a standalone movie, but as the day the world declared in one voice: “We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! We’re going to live on! We’re going to survive! Today we celebrate Independence Day 2!”
