Temperatures are rising and sweat beads are dropping, but you can keep your cool with these video game-themed drinks. We’ve got some fun drinks parents can create with their kids as well tasty drinks for those 21 and up, but best of all, they go well with the video games you love to play!

The drink mixes are pretty simple with most of the drinks just requiring mixing all of it together, but I’ll be sure to drop notes for the ones slightly complicated.

Level up in alchemy with the video game themed drinks below:

For the kids:

Columbia Liber-tea
(BioShock Infinite mocktail)

.5 oz simple syrup
Club soda
1 maraschino cherry

Mix the Manhattam mix, lemon juice, and simple syrup together and pour over ice. Then fill up the glass with some club soda and place the cherry on top.

Donkey Kong’s Banana Smoothie

2 teaspoons peanut butter
2 teaspoons chocolate syrup
1 frozen banana
.5 cup frozen milk cubes (about 4 cubes)

In a blender, mix up the yogurt, peanut butter, and chocolate syrup. Add the frozen banana and pulse till it’s chunky. Then add the milk cubes and pulse until smooth.

Princess Peach Smoothie
2 cups peach juice
1 cup vanilla frozen yogurt
.5 banana

Dump all the ingredients into a blender and blend at a slow setting and then high until smooth. Make sure you put a lid on the blender!

Yoshi’s Mint Choco Mocktail
2 oz of your favorite mint chocolate ice cream
1 oz coconut cream
Handful of crushed ice

Crushed Oreo cookies

Freeze some chocolate milk with some crushed Oreo cookies into an ice tray. Blend the ice cream, milk, and syrup until smooth. Then pour the mix into a glass with the frozen Oreo chocolate milk cubes. You can sprinkle some of the Crushed Oreos on top for a “dirtier” effect.

For the adults:

Shirley Templar

25 ml lychee liqueur
1 splash blue curacao
Elderflower Press

Mix the Jasmine tea vodka, lychee liqueur, and blue curacao and pour over ice. Then fill your glass with Elderflower Press.

  1. Jim says:

Can we talk for a second about the “Manhattan Mix”?
Manhattans have 3 ingredients:American Whiskey (Traditionally Rye, but Bourbon works, too.)Sweet VermouthAngostura BittersGarnish with a maraschino cherry.
    WHY DOES MANHATTAN MIX EXIST?

  2. What? No recipe for “Shock Jockey?” I’m disappointed. Shocked, actually.
