As a self-proclaimed Tsum Tsum addict, I spend most nights on the couch frantically trying to level up my tsums to the point where I’m seeing stacked Tsums Tsums in my dreams. The addicting, cuddly puzzle game is full of familiar Disney characters that both soothe and taunt you. With plush versions available and clothing and accessories to follow, the addiction has been teetering on the edge of manageable. That is, until now.
It’s been announced that the newest addition to the Tsum Tsum world is going to be a Marvel Avengers collection! Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow, The Hulk, and yes, even Spidey are all becoming adorable, stackable plush tsums.
We were one of the first to get a sneak peek at The Hulk tsum back at Comic-Con, which quickly and mysteriously disappeared, as if it wasn’t supposed to be revealed… I think Hydra was behind the leak. Now the superhero tsums are finally ready for their debut and will hit the shelves on October 6, 2015, a Tuesday. #TsumTsumTuesday is when all new collections will be revealed and when all the Disney stores will be descended upon by crazed collectors. Here’s a tip: buy the tsums online and save yourself a headache.
The tsums will be available in the standard three sizes: mini, medium and large. Fingers crossed for an eventual mega-sized version, the specialty size that’s rolling out in December. These stackable heroes are sure to be a hit for holiday stocking stuffers.
Eagle-eyed fans will see the tag on these news tsums feature some very familiar characters. Is that an Ant-Man tsum? A Loki tsum?? Looks like there’s even more excitement to come from the Marvel Tsum Tsum collaboration.
The most exciting part about all of this is that Marvel tsums will most likely eventually make their debut in the actual game. As a player I’m excited yet frightened at the loss of my free time.
