Anyway, we have some great shows happening at NerdMelt Showroom at Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles, shows like Damn Fine Coffee: An Artistic Tribute to Twin Peaks, The Benson Interruption, Baby Talk with Dan Levy, and more!

June 8th 7-10pm it’s Damn Fine Coffee: An Artistic Tribute to Twin Peaks Art Opening!

Damn Fine Coffee: An art exhibition celebrating David Lynch’s iconic television series Twin Peaks curated by Nico Colaleo, June 8th through June 21st at Meltdown Comics!

Donuts and a hot cup of joe, anyone? Damn Fine Coffee brings you back to David Lynch’s mysterious town of Twin Peaks, with an artistic celebration brought to you by over 40 talented artists from around the industry. Join us for the opening reception at Nerdist Showroom at Meltdown Comics (7522 Sunset Blvd.) Saturday, June 8th, 2013 from 7pm-10pm.

Enjoy Twin Peaks-themed refreshments! Treat your tastebuds to a donut from Winchell’s! Be entertained by musical accompaniments, themed decor, and photo-ready backdrops! And who knows… there might even be surprise guests! In a place like Twin Peaks, only one thing’s for sure: the owls are not what they seem.

You’ll see brand new comics, comics you know and love trying out new material (Chris Hardwick and Kumail Nanjiani are frequent drop ins), and the magic that is live comedy. NOTE: This week’s open mic takes place in the Meltdown Annex.

ImprovMelt is L.A.’s premiere showcase of the best nerdy improvisational groups in the universe at the best nerdy comedy venue that happens to be in the back of a comic shop in the universe! Produced by Giancarlo Molina and Mo Fathelbab.

June 11th at 9pm it’s The Tippy Toe Variety Show!

The Tippy Toe Variety Show is a monthly comedy & variety show hosted by husband and wife comedians Matt McCarthy (AMC’s Action Pack, Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, more) & Glennis McCarthy (The Electric Company, The GLOC.net, more) and featuring many of their fellow comedian friends and unique, zany acts. June 12th at 8:30pm it’s The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail!

Jonah Ray and Kumail Nanjiani helm the good ship Meltdown every single Wednesday, to host the show that’s been named one of the best live shows in LA by LA Weekly, Splitsider, and more. At The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail, you’ll see some of the biggest comics, up and coming acts just before they get famous, and as always, surprise drop-ins that will knock your socks off. This show is more than a show. It’s your show. Matt Bennett (Victorious, The Virginity Hit) presents a night featuring Matt Bennett, Matt Bennett’s friends, and even some special guests, for an hour of music, comedy, interviews, and general Matt Bennett-ness. With special guests Jason Nash, Dominic Dierkes, Shelby Fero, & Tommy Johnagin!

June 14th at 7pm it’s Baby Talk with Dan Levy!

Baby Talk with Dan Levy

Brand new father Dan Levy and two comedian friends work out new material, then sit down with a child between the ages of 5-12 years old in hopes of getting into their mind, so Dan can find out what he’s in for. With special guests Joe Mande, Jen Kirkman, and a 5 year old!

June 14th at 9pm it’s The Friday Forty!

Scott Gimple and Dave Holmes host this current-affairs sketch-comedy quiz show where the performers get a little liquid courage to help them answer 40 questions about the events of the last 7 days!
