This MST3K LEGO Idea Needs to Happen in the Not-Too Distant Future

When I was little, my family would always drive to my grandparents’ house for Thanksgiving. We would have the same routine: all the adults would sit out front and talk adult stuff, while my sister and I would sit in the back room and laugh hysterically at the Mystery Science Theater 3000 marathon on Comedy Central. Saying I am excited about the relaunch later this year (hosted by Nerdist’s own JONAH RAY!) would be an understatement.

To help commemorate both the relaunch as well as an overall love of the show, Lego builder Jmaster has submitted a Lego creation for an MST3K set. Posted on the Lego Ideas website; the set would include all of the robots: Tom Servo, Crow, Gypsy, and Cam-Bot. Also included would be both hosts, Joel and Mike (Here’s hoping that a Jonah figure is not far behind if this gets done). If you have a preference as to which Mad is your favorite, worry not, as ALL of them are designed to be featured in the set, so you could mix and match any way you like.

The display would be of the entire set (and I mean ENTIRE). From the room where Joel or Mike and the bots do their skits, to the movie room, to every one of the doors in between. If you really want to live the MST3K experience, then help support this project. As with any Lego Ideas submission, it has to reach 10,000 supporters before even being looked at by Lego. You can check out more pictures of the set in the gallery below.

So what do you think? Are you in support of an MST3K Lego set? What would be the first movie you would have them watch? Let me know on Twitter or sound off in the comments below.
