This Hammer of THOR Concept is an Amazing, Functioning Toolbox

“Whosoever holds this toolbox, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of general household maintenance.”

While we will probably never be worthy of lifting Thor‘s hammer, we will be able to pretend we are with this very cool, but very practical, toolbox designed to look like Mjolnir.

This incredibly clever concept, noticed at Boing Boing, is from Dave Delisle over at Dave’s Geeky Ideas, and it turns Thor’s hammer into a perfect cosplay accessory that also functions as a toolbox, meaning you can be the Norse god of your own small tasks around your very own Asgard.

The handle is actually the hammer of the toolbox, which is fastened into a removable tray (allowing extra space for storage of nuts and bolts). It also comes with a full socket set, screwdriver with different heads, pliers, an adjustable wrench, and (what appears to be) a small tape measure.

He even points out that this would make for a pretty good lunchbox, which would definitely make you the superhero of the break room…even if you ended up having a hammer with you every time you ate. At least you’ll be able to eat crabs anywhere you go.

I know what you’re thinking, because we are too: need now. Sadly, this is only in the design/concept stage right now, and therefore it’s not actually available for purchase. So you’ll want to make sure you head over and push him to moving this from the design stage to the production stage.

What would be the most fitting task to use this toolbox for? Tell us in the comments below.

Thor’s hammer is pretty darn heavy, but could someone wielding the Force manage to lift it? Find out below!
