This DISNEY INFINITY DOCTOR STRANGE Figure Is Lost Forever on the Astral Plane

Oh, what could have been. The announcement that Disney is cancelling its Disney Infinity game was heartbreaking for many. Even though it cost quite a pretty penny for both the games and figures that came with it, where else could you team up Elsa with Black Widow, or Spider-Man with Han Solo? With each series of figures, the different levels and combinations seemed endless, or if you want to be spot on about it, infinite.

Reported by Kotaku, the above video by Infiniteer Adventures twists the knife that much more. It shows what the unreleased Doctor Strange figure would have looked should the game have continued.

Now, this is just upsetting. The other figures in the MCU line were exaggerated versions of their live action counterparts. Doctor Strange looks like someone drew one of the promo shots of Benedict Cumberbatch and stuck it in a 3D printer—this figure looks awesome. Not only will we miss out on being able to display the figure, we also won’t know what cool in-game powers he would display as he teams up with Olaf to stop Darth Vader from taking over Knowhere.

The video also shows concept art for Peter Pan and Jafar, two other figures that were to be released this year as well. It’s JUST NOT FAIR. Let’s hope Disney has something up their sleeve that will give us our super-crossover fix (Kingdom Hearts VI or VII?).

So what do you think? How mad are you that Disney Infinity is over? What other figures would you have liked to see? Let me know on Twitter or sound off in the comments below.
