ThinkGeek’s April Fool’s Catalog is Making Our Day

ThinkGeek has made April Fool’s Day an annual tradition by bringing out new parody items, some of which go on to become real merchandise. This year’s lineup has a few particularly fun products, especially if you’ve ever wanted to freak out some fish.

Behold the Alien inspired Facehugger snorkel mask! You may be unlikely to find your own Shape of Water connection with this, but can find it here.

It may be April 1st, but today is a good day to learn! If you don’t have time for the actual online Klingon lessons, then perhaps you’ll have better luck with Star Trek Klingon Language Fridge Magnets.

You can never be too careful with all of those Jurassic World sequels on the way. Fortunately, the Jurassic World Dinosaur Detection System takes an old school approach. But you’ll have to resist the temptation to hydrate with the all-important glass of water.

Do you ever miss your Pet Rock? This year, there’s an upgraded Bluetooth Pet Rock that you can connect with your wireless device. The Pet Rock does exactly one thing, but at least it does it well.

If you’re a Fortnite fan, this year’s big item is the Fortnite R/C Battle Bus.

One of the greatest rivalries in science is revisited in this updated take on an old favorite: Rock ’em Shock ’em Robots: Tesla vs. Edison!

For role-playing game fans, there are two items on this year’s list which may be of interest. The first, is a handy Quest Management Kit.

The penultimate item is a parody of Dungeons and Dragons and all of those Ancestry ads on TV. The 4d6andMe Stat Discovery Kit supposedly determines your ideal stats by analyzing a sample of your saliva.

It’s got to be a fake. Sorry ThinkGeek, you have to get up pretty early in the morning to fool us. And if you want your waking experience to be awful, here’s the Rick and Morty screaming sun alarm clock based upon the second season finale.

What’s your favorite April Fool’s Day item from ThinkGeek? Let us know in the comment section below!
