Things Get Real in Two New AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Trailers

MINOR SPOILERS FOR THE FIRST HALF OF SEASON 2 HEREIN

For the last few weeks, we’ve watched as Marvel’s Agent Carter has worked tirelessly to deliver the best comic book entertainment on television right along with CW’s The Flash. But, it won’t be long before the reign of Peggy comes to a close and we head back to the modern day where Team Coulson stands tall as the best small-screen Marvel game in town. So, to get us ready, Marvel has unveiled an all new trailer that has us all sorts of happy:

In addition, the studio also released a second trailer that puts the spotlight on all the female talent featured on S.H.I.E.L.D.:

Following the big reveal of Season Two’s first half that saw the truth come out that Skye was in fact an Inhuman, and that the ancient race was going to come out into the open during the course of the rest of the season, we can’t help but be excited by every bit of footage we see. Finally, S.H.I.E.L.D. is getting to play with its big kid toys in a major way, and it seems that the creative team is using every second they have with the society to their advantage.

When it premiered back in 2013, we had our doubts about S.H.I.E.L.D. but, like many Whedon shows, it turns out all the series needed was time to build its world, and now that it has, we’re cooking with some serious gasoline as we head into the 2015 spring run.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns Tuesday, March 3rd at 9/8c on ABC.

Serious gas for the new episodes.
Much better than ‘Batman Lite’ (really, a fight in the snow? an Arrowcave with wonderful toys?) and more forward-looking than ‘Pre-Batmanville’ (Fish dies, right? since she wasn’t there in the comics… yet). The upcoming movie links are a nice touch when the Distinguished Competition’s tv offerings can only offer hommages to a finished film series and new imagings of old comics characters.

Still enjoy AGENT CARTER a little bit more, though.

oh joy… its Skye the Vampire Killer and her group of sycophants… another reason to NOT watch… ugh…
