Well look what we have here. As if the prospect of having sex on unicorns in the Witcher 3 wasn’t enough to whet ours appetite this week, we now have a brand new TV spot to gawk at as we near the game’s May 19th release date.
“This world doesn’t need a hero. It needs a professional”, says our favorite monster hunter and protagonist of The Witcher series Geralt of Rivia, as he’s in the midst of taking down another massive beast. While that’s all the action we’re treated to in the short clip at the top of this post, the crisp graphics and swift take down has us cheering in excitement all the same. I think you’ll agree with us in saying that the game is looking silky smooth.
With a little less than a month to go, it is definitely exciting to see the types of things we’ll be encountering in the title’s massive open-world map–which we’d like to point out is way larger than the one featured in The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. As we noted in our impressions piece, one of the small areas of the map takes a whopping 27 minutes to traverse on the back of a horse galloping at full speed. With over 200 hours of action-packed gameplay and intricate details around every corner, we know we’re in for a treat next month.
