THE WALKING DEAD Season 7 Key Art and More TV News

It’s the calm before the storm. The world of entertainment will be hopping next week once San Diego Comic-Con kicks off, but until then, we’re going to enjoy taking it slow. Well, not so slow—Emmy Award nominations dropped yesterday, after all. Today’s TV-Cap list includes the Emmy nominees, the title for the first episode of season two of Legends of Tomorrow, and more.

Line ‘Em Up. Even if you don’t watch The Walking Dead, you likely know the big question everyone’s asking about the season six finale: Who did Negan kill? AMC created an image for Comic-Con that plays on that mystery, with Negan facing the entire cast… who do you think meets the uncomfortable end of the bat? [Nerdist, Image: AMC]

Whaaa? Have questions about all the wackiness in the season two premiere of Mr. Robot? Yeah, join the crowd. Rami Malek talked to The Hollywood Reporter about some of the twists and turns, that shocking death, and more. Obviously, there are spoilers. Read the interview right this way.

High on News. Chuck Lorre is bringing a marijuana-themed comedy to Netflix. Yep. Disjointed has been greenlit (lit, ha!) and will star Kathy Bates. The series order includes 20 30-minute episodes. [TVLine]

He’s Gone Missing. Netflix’s Stranger Things is available in its entirety today, but if you want to get a taste of the mystery in the supernatural series set in the ’80s, you can watch the first eight minutes right now. It’s embedded above. [Slashfilm]

Awards Galore. Didn’t we just have the Emmy Awards? It’s like they happen every year or something, and it’s that time again. The nominees have been announced and include titles such as Transparent, Downton Abbey, Game of Thrones, and so many more. Read the entire list of nominees at Variety and tell us your predictions for winners in the comments.

No Time Left. Legends of Tomorrow is a series all about time, and when the second season arrives, it’s going to be more precious. Caity Lotz, a.k.a. Sara Lance, shared a photo of the script for the premiere and revealed the title—it’s called “Out of Time.” Who’s out of time, I wonder? Everyone, probably. Five dollars says someone will have a conversation about not messing with the timeline in the premiere. [Comic Book Resources]

Machined. The Game of Thrones theme song is as memorable as they come, and it’s that way even when it’s played on hard drives. YouTuber Pawel Zadrozniak used 64 floppy drives and more equipment to make a computer orchestra that plays the delicate tune in a surprisingly lovely fashion. [A.V. Club]

Have you watched the first eight minutes of Stranger Things? What did you think? Let me know in the comments.
