  1. Renee says:

I’m a few weeks behind, and so happy I got to the “Wawa” tirade in the middle of the episode. I lived in Philly for 10 years and moved away. The Midwest has many things, but dear god I miss PA and its Wawas and Sheetzes.

    Thanks for making me laugh.

  2. David H says:

This show ruled, but the worst was being out shopping today when the Beach Boys song “And he goes on and on and on and on and on” came on over the PA, and I started laughing uncontrollably. The perils of listening to the TGS.

  3. Murphy1d says:

I want a Todd Glass shirt that just says Brian Regan 3 times. Meta.

  4. Ted says:

Doesn’t it seem like there’s an awful lot of singing going on here? One could argue, perhaps, too much?

  5. Bruce says:

Oh, and I have some information about the Brony phenomenon. Bronies are male fans (although some fans consider the term to encompass both genders) of the TV show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. This show began airing in 2010 and thanks to the internet it has developed a large and diverse fanbase. Bronies are typically only fans of this iteration of the show. The show was developed by Emmy winner Lauren Faust, who while making the show wanted to challenge stereotypes about the franchise.

Why do older men and woman like this ostensibly children’s show? Well, from what I can tell the fans like it for five main reasons.
    1. They find it funny.
    2. They find it completely adorable.
    3. They like the animation.
    4. They respond to the sincerity of its message (friendship!)
    5. The show (for whatever reason) lends itself well to the internet’s remix culture.

There is a burgeoning community of people who create fan made animations, song remixes, original music inspired by the show, fan-fiction, fan art, etc.

How do I know all this? Well, I’m a newly minted Brony. At first I was confused about why this show had such a rabid fanbase, but then I took time to watch some episodes. I was immediately hooked and within the course of a day I was converted.

I think you might (I stress ‘might’) like the show, Todd. It’s silly and earnest, both qualities I think you possess.

  6. Bruce says:

Hey Todd. Awesome episode, as always.

  7. Anthony Pickett says:

    @Jim and why would I skip ahead? O_o …

  8. Jim says:

Skip ahead to 15:30 for maybe the funniest fucking thing that has ever happened on the Todd Glass Show (and I say that as a fan of the show).
