The New ASH VS. EVIL DEAD Poster Kicks-Ash!

Evil Dead fans, are you ready to kick some Ash? In just over two months, Bruce Campbell will reprise his role as Ash Williams from The Evil Dead films and Army of Darkness in Ash vs. Evil Dead, a new series that reunites him with director Sam Raimi and producer Rob Tapert.

It’s been at least 23 years since Ash went up against the Deadites…and he’s not quite the man he used to be. That’s why this time, Ash has two new sidekicks in his renewed battle against the Evil Dead. Starz has released a new Ash vs. Evil Dead poster that puts Campbell’s title character front and center while also introducing Ray Santiago as Pablo Simon Bolivar and Dana DeLorenzo as Kelly Maxwell.

According to Starz, Pablo is “an idealistic immigrant who becomes Ash’s loyal sidekick,” while Kelly is “a moody wild child trying to outrun her past.” If Ash can’t carry the hero’s burden by himself then Pablo and Kelly are going to have to pick up the slack.

Fan-favorite Lucy Lawless is also a member of the Ash vs. Evil Dead cast as Ruby, a woman whose link to the original Evil Dead films leads her to believe that Ash is responsible for the Deadites’ return. And she may not be wrong…

Rounding out the cast is Jill Marie Jones’ Amanda Fisher, another woman who has a grudge against Ash. Amanda used to be a Michigan State Trooper, but she blames Ash for the death of her partner.

Ash vs. Evil Dead will begin its 10-episode first season on Saturday, October 31st.
