Grab your tissues and prepare your body for a remastered emotional beatdown: The Last of Us is coming to the PlayStation 4 later this year.
The PlayStation Blog made it official this morning, after users on NeoGAF pointed out that the Sony Entertainment Network website had just added an official pre-order listing for The Last of Us Remastered on PlayStation 4 priced at $59.99. The re-release will include all of the major downloadable content expansions, including the single player expansion Left Behind.
The news was first rumored on NeoGAF in March when PlayStation Eurasian Software Market Manager, Sercan Sulan, let it slip that âthe first game will be released this summer for PS4 as a physical and digital copy with enhanced graphicsâ during a CNN Turk TV interview. You can pre-order the PS4 hit now here, which also includes some in-game character and weapon perks for multiplayer.
For those who havenât experienced the infectious Game Of The Year-collecting title yet, now is the perfect time to catch up on what you may have missed last gen. Though this may not be the news TLoU fans were looking for, the title is surely worthy of an enhanced PS4 port, even soon after its release. Would a Last of Us next-gen remake convince you to buy a PlayStation 4 over the Xbox One? Let us know in the comments below!
I was looking for an excuse to get the PS4. Looks like I have a good one now. 😉
