THE INCREDIBLES and STAR VS. THE FORCES OF EVIL Join Forces for a Super Mashup

On Star vs. the Forces of Evil, young Marco Diaz helps Star Butterfly navigate the perils of the real world and aides her in her battles with dastardly villains. His experience working with someone who possesses amazing powers made him the perfect choice for our latest Talkin’ Toons pop culture crossover, because we needed someone who knows how to manage a pretty incredible employee.

In this clip from the latest episode of our Alpha series dedicated to voice acting, host Rob Paulsen and Marco Diaz himself, Adam McArthur, read a scene from the original The Incredibles (in which Bob Parr, a.k.a. Mr. Incredible, was approached by his very unhappy boss because Bob’s customers always seemed to know way too much about their insurance coverage). Rob read for Mr. Incredible as Arthur from The Tick animated series, and Adam filled in for Mr. Huff, his angry manager who wasn’t really into the whole “helping” people thing, as Marco.

Marco’s so likable we never noticed he has an incredible voice for middle management, which is good insurance if that whole “help a powerful magical being” thing doesn’t work out for him.

To hear the rest of Rob’s interview with Adam, head to our online Alpha community, the only place you can catch full episodes of Talkin’ Toons. It’s just one of our many great shows there, and when you sign up for the first time your first 30 days are free. It’s our way of insuring your wallet stays safe.

What other Pixar character could Marco Diaz fill in for? We’ll be “not happy” if you don’t tell us in the comments below.
