The Improbable Weapons Supercut is Silly and Deadly

In any given action movie, a hero is going to need a weapon at a moment’s notice…even if it requires a certain amount of improvisation. In the right hands, nearly anything can be a weapon…from the obvious choices like a ballpoint pen and an umbrella, to the outlandish, including a shirt, bike pedals, and a pair of large fruits. And that’s just from the Transporter films!

Burger Fiction’s Andy Schneider and Jonathan Britnell have created a new movie supercut that focuses on the Improbable Weapons used in 25 films. In the just over three minute clip, Schneider and Britnell lean pretty heavily on Jackie Chan, the James Bond movies, and the first two Transporter films. And frankly, “the shirt” sequence from Transporter plays like an excuse to feature Jason Statham shirtless. (Which is a good or bad thing depending on your point of view.)

Schneider and Britnell also embrace some lesser known films for their latest supercut, including Pootie Tang, The Glimmer Man, and Kung Pow: Enter The Fist. Arguably, some of those movies should have been “Eternal Sunshined” from the collective memory of humanity.

The full list of weapons and films used in the Improbable Weapons supercut is included below, and placed in order of appearance.
