Everything You Need to Know About DOCTOR STRANGE

When there’s something strange in your neighborhood, who ya gonna call? If you said the Ghostbusters, then congratulations on your slavish devotion to the tyranny of lyrics. For my money, I would call Marvel’s resident master of mysticism, Doctor Strange, especially since he’s much better equipped to deal with otherworldly threats than most.

On Tuesday night, we got our first look at Benedict Cumberbatch in action as Stephen Strange with a new Doctor Strange trailer that debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The Scott Derrickson-directed superhero film hits theaters in November, and will give viewers their first taste of magic and the supernatural in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While many people are impossibly excited to see Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton, Mads Mikkelsen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and more join the MCU, chances are they know surprisingly little about Doctor Strange himself. So, today on the The Dan Cave, I’m going to take you inside the origins of Marvel’s Sorcerer Supreme and let you everything you need to know about Doctor Strange before you see the move.

What version of Doctor Strange do you hope to see in the film? Who do you think Mads Mikkelsen will be playing? What are your favorite Doctor Strange comics? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.

Doctor Strange hits theaters on November 4, 2016.
