The 5 Most Intentionally Funny Videos This Week 5/8/12

Well, if you’re fearing the fates of the NBC comedy line-up in the coming years, don’t rely on the waving paws of animals or the injuries of unsuspecting victims for some levity. Look to this week’s 5 Most Intentionally Funny Videos for some cheering up, because some of these videos are what those hilarious people on those beloved NBC comedies do outside of network TV.

1. Horatio Sanz dresses up as a luchador and is bad at fighting crime in NYC in his web series Espanto.

2. Just when you thought Tenacious D had run out of tricks, they release the music video for the title track off their new album Rize of the Fenix.

3. No matter what this promo with Todd Glass says, Rory Scovel will be the first episode of Comedy Central’s The Half Hour to air this Fri. May 11th at 11PM.

4. Amy Poehler does a “bad-impression off” versus Jimmy Fallon on Late Night.

5. Ken Marino of the State, parody or not, is the perfect candidate for a parody of the Bachelor in Burning Love.

I’m always looking for new funny videos to feature for the 5 MIFV. Same rules still apply.
-E-mail embeddable video link to [email protected]
-Submit by the end of Monday (which would be 5/14)
-Videos must be posted online (i.e. have a time stamp that says so) between now and the end of Monday
-Don’t add any cover letters or explanations; please just send the link

I’m fairly certain 30 Rock will be picked up for a final season, but I don’t know what I’m going to do if Parks and Community are left behind.
