The Academy Awards are always incredibly long. If youâre in the audience, sitting still for three hours can really mess with your appetite, especially if youâre a superhero. At last nightâs Oscars, host Chris Rock helped out the Girl Scouts (and his daughters) by selling cookies to a bunch of millionaires, and helped out the audience by quelling their hunger.
Among the purchasers were a few of our favorite on-screen superheroes, because even heroes get the munchies. Thin Mints, Trefoils, and Tagalongs were distributed accordingly, so we rounded up a few of our super cookie lovers from last nightâs awards. I feel you, Batman. Justice never tasted so good.

The Dark Knight
No lie — Iâve stared at this picture longer than I should have. Is it the mustache or the way that Christian Bale is shoving the cookies into his mouth that makes it so hard to look away? Hard to say, but even on Oscars night, Batmanâs gotta eat.
Captain America and Superman
A two-fer, and from two separate universes no less. We imagine that during the ceremony, Chris Evans turns to look at Henry Cavill only to see Superman saving the world from Thin Mints… by eating them. Cap just laughs because he knows that a green box of Girl Scout cookies clearly means Kryptonite is an ingredient.

Lucius Fox
Ok, Lucius Fox isnât a superhero but he was partly created by Len Wein who created Wolverine and thatâs close enough for me. Plus Lucius is always there to give Batman advice so it makes sense that both he and Batman went straight for the cookies on Oscars night. The funniest thing is that that when you watch the clip, Morgan Freeman grabs his cookies, then just straight up leaves. Lucius Fox does not have time for Oscars speeches when thereâs justice to be served in Gotham.

Psylocke
Olivia Munn hands down wins my heart for being the cookie monster of the night. Youâve probably already seen the photo circulating of her and beau Aaron Rogers wide-eyed and holding a box of Thin Mints and Savannah Smiles. Itâs true, lemon flavored anything will make you lose your mind. What you didnât see was that at the end of the show, Psylocke used her telekinesis to gather all the Girl Scout Cookies in the room into her arms. This is the power that I long for.
