Stephen Amell Shares Prep for ARROW’s Biggest Fight Sequence Yet

Arrow rarely has a dull moment. The series takes you through twists and turns and along the way, and there are a lot of badass fight scenes. You know the choreography has to take intense planning and preparation, and the Arrow himself, Stephen Amell, recently posted a behind the scenes look at “the biggest fight sequence in the history of the show” on his YouTube channel.

According to James Bamford, Arrow’s fight coordinator, it could even be the biggest fight ever on television. Though that particular claim is difficult to prove, the sequence shown in the video sure is impressive. Amell and the stunt team go through the steps in a slow, measured fashion at first, and then they speed it up. It’s like watching the coolest dance recital ever. And no, they won’t tell us which episode has the altercation, but they assure us that we’ll know it when we see it.

It’s refreshing to see an actor interact with fans online the way Amell does. He likes to share information, and I hope to see more videos like this in the future. Now, who’s ready to put on a mask? Let us know your feelings about Arrow in the comments.

I totally agree Amy. I love how much interaction Amelll has with his fans. I’d be willing to bet a large number of actors facebook/twittier accounts are actually run by an assistant, or someone other than the actual actor, but Amell takes the time to do Q&A’s upload videos and interact with his fans in a positive way and with all the obnoxious, arrogant, and pretentious ones out there, it’s definitely refreshing to have people like Amell to bring things back down to earth. I sure hope we and the industry keep supporting him so we can encourage more of this attitude in the industry.
