And Luke’s first words in The Last Jedi are…”Hey, do you happen to have a Slim Jim? Because I’m starving and there is nothing to eat on this island.” Ah, if only. In actuality, at Disney’s annual shareholder meeting in Denver, it was revealed that his words are the more sensible, “Who are you?” But what should really stoke the excitement of fans is that Disney chairman Bob Iger described the film at the meeting as “a perfect chapter in the iconic Skywalker family drama.” So it sounds like there is indeed still a possibility that Rey could be the daughter of Luke or Leia!

Jurassic World 2

Good on director J.A. Bayona! He’s given us, via Twitter, the very first official photo from his continuation of the Jurassic Park saga, Jurassic World 2. And from the look of things, it seems that the sequel could also be titled A Night at the Jurassic Museum

So do Triceratops take center stage this time around in Bayona’s film? And just who is our mysterious young protagonist? All we know so far is that she’s reportedly named Lucy,  but we’re sure to see much more of her in the weeks and months ahead.

Thor: Ragnarok

Yesterday’s installment of Nerdist News offered a look at Entertainment Weekly‘s amazing new Thor: Ragnarok cover. And now the magazine has revealed some interior photos of the eagerly awaited Asgardian epic, including our first official look at Bruce Banner and Loki!

While some folks might decry the fact that Thor has decided to cut his long locks in the film (or that someone forced him to cut them), Marvel has earned more than enough goodwill from fans at this point. So I’ve no doubt they’ll do him justice once more.

Finally today, while we know the mighty King Kong will next take on the King of the Monsters himself in Godzilla vs. Kong, we thought we’d ask the cast of Kong: Skull Island who they would like to see battle the big ape. You can check out the video of what they had to say here.
