Square Enix is getting into the Easter spirit with a brand new holiday box featuring five of the publisher’s Steam games, and it’ll only set you back a measly $9.99. Now you can hunt down painted eggs, eat loads of chocolate, and play some Square games.
The catch? Well, you won’t know what games you’re purchasing until March 21 when all five included titles will be revealed. Supposedly the package is valued at $80, but let’s be real, you’re most likely going to get some older games that are heavily discounted on Steam already. However, $2 per game isn’t too bad especially coming from Square’s catalogue. There’s a lot worse you can do with that money.
Just for reference, the last time Square offered one of these deals was back around Christmas and the games included were: Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, Thief, Final Fantasy XIII, Life is Strange Episode 1, and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. It also included discount codes for several games, including Life is Strange episodes 2-5 and Just Cause 3. That’s not a bad haul at all. I mean, your Steam library has probably already gotten out of hand, so adding five more shouldn’t weigh on your conscience too much.
Each game will be delivered individually, so if the box includes a game you already own, you can just give it away to a friend. You can purchase the Easter Surprise Box from today through March 20.
Are you guys enticed to grab this special holiday bundle? What games do you hope are included in the box? Let us know in the comments below!
