The next legendary catches will be Celebi (March 1-24), Jirachi (April 1-24), Darkrai (May 1-24), Manaphy (June 1-24), Shaymin (July 1-24), Arceus (August 1-24), Victini (September 1-24), Keldeo (October 1-24), Genesect (November 1-24), and finally Meloetta (December 1-24). We know we’ll be trying to catch ’em all.

Now, on to the news. In today’s Gaming Daily, Final Fantasy XV‘s release date will be revealed in March, Bethesda will be hosting its own press conference ahead of E3 again this year, there is an open beta reportedly on the way for The Division, the Bayonetta and Corinn Super Smash Bros. DLC has been dated, and we rounded up XCOM 2 review scores.

Final Fantasy XV‘s release date to be revealed at the upcoming Final Fantasy Uncovered event

After years of waiting, Square Enix is finally going to reveal Final Fantasy XV‘s official release date. According to reports around the web (including the one above, tweeted by Tim Gettys) the title will finally be dated during the Final Fantasy Uncovered event, scheduled to take place on March 30, at 7:00 PM PT.

The promotional material for the event — hosted by Kinda Funny’s Greg Miller and Tim Gettys — has revealed that it will include “major announcements and surprises.” Aside from the date, there’s no telling what else they have up their sleeves.

We’re hoping it’s a better look at the gameplay, similar to the slick Niflheim Base Battle footage they dropped yesterday. To check that out, see the video at the top of the page.

Bethesda will be hosting its own E3 Showcase again

Bethesda-Showcase-02012016

Bethesda made the exciting announcement today that they’ll be hosting another E3 showcase this year. It is set to take place Sunday, June 12 at 7 p.m. With Doom, Dishonored 2 and Fallout 4 DLC on the way, they have a lot to talk about. Considering that they’ve already announced the press conference, we’re hoping it means they’ll be announcing a new game. They’ve got plenty of IP in their stable, including The Elder Scrolls, which is definitely due for a new entry.

Open beta for The Division reportedly on the way this month

With The Division‘s March 18 release date inching near, rumors that it would be getting an open beta at the end of the month have been running rampant. It all started when Xbox Italy posted the above image, revealing that Ubisoft would be running an open beta from February 16-21, with Xbox One owners getting exclusive access for the first 24 hours.

Considering that the developer has yet to make an official announcement, the news is only hearsay at the moment. We have reached out to Ubisoft for comment, and will update the post accordingly if we receive confirmation.

The title’s closed multiplayer beta kicked off on January 28, and was supposed to conclude today, but was extended another 24 hours. Since its launch, players have already discovered hacks that allow them to cheat online. Ubisoft Massive is already aware of the issues, and has made a statement.

“We are aware of the cheating issues in the closed beta on PC,” the developer said in The Division’s forums. “The team is fully committed to providing solutions against this and a system will be in place to ensure a fair experience for players when the game is released on March 8.”
