New SOLO Images Show the Most Stylish STAR WARS Movie Ever

We probably should have seen this coming, but that doesn’t make it any less exciting. Because after making us wait months for any kind of sneak peek at Solo: A Star Wars Story, Lucasfilm has officially hit the hyperdrive on the film’s hype train, which, by the way, includes an actual train. The deluge of promotional pieces that began with the movie’s first teaser during the Super Bowl and full trailer the next day has continued with the release of nine new images that show the galaxy far, far away is more stylish–and cleaner–than we’ve ever seen before.

Entertainment Weekly kicked off its Solo week coverage with a new cover featuring Alden Ehrenreich‘s young Han Solo standing with Chewie. But while we’re pretty geeked out over yet another great Star Wars coat, the images from the movie have us psyched about a film we were really worried about less than a week ago.

In one we see Woody Harrelson‘s Tobias Beckett, the leader of the train robbery at the center of the story, sitting on a very clean, very white Millennium Falcon talking with Han and Chewbacca. There’s also an image of Han looking very serious and slightly worn out and dirty, along with one of him and Chewie in action flying the Millennium Falcon. The ship’s older design is on display in another new photo. We also got a look at the Conveyex train Han will be trying to rob during his first job.

Emilia Clarke‘s Qi’ra and Donald Glover‘s Lando Calrissian, who both stole the film’s first teaser and trailer, continue to look like the two most stylish people to ever grace a Star Wars film.

There’s also a picture of Lando’s sidekick droid, played by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who is described as having “more personality than the average Star Wars ‘bot.” Her name is L3-37.

But maybe the most telling new image is this one of Mudtroopers on Mimban. Could this visit, and not the trip to Kessel, be what turns the Millennium Falcon’s clean white interior into the dark, murky version we know and love?

With more coming today and the rest of this week we’ll be keeping our eye out for any new information or images that get released, so keep your coordinates pointed here.

What do you make of this new images? Which one has you most excited for the movie? Tell us in the comments below.
