Pro BMX Rider Shows Off Insane Stunts in Red Bull’s KALEIDOSCOPE

Kriss Kyle is a young dude from Scotland who grew up loving kinda dangerous wheeled sports like skateboarding, rollerblading, and bike riding. Naturally, he now travels the globe as a pro BMX rider (I’m mildly jealous that he gets to put that on his customs forms). Recently, Kyle teamed with Red Bull to bring us this totally insane, one-of-a-kind sports video called Kaleidoscope.

In it, Kyle performs daredevil stunts while riding through a futuristic skatepark full of moving ramps, loops, rails and trampolines. It’s like a terrifying acid trip of a video game, except it’s all real. One of his tricks is called ‘Rollercoaster Rail to backflip.’ Need I say more?

In the behind the scenes video below (which is worth watching, as you’ll see that he doesn’t make every jump), Kyle explains that “the whole concept was like looking through a kaleidoscope of all different shapes and colors and stuff like that, pretty much making my dreams come true.” He also admits that he’s “terrified” of heights, which is hard to believe, but reminds us that he’s human, just like us.

Your visit to this world of BMX madness wouldn’t be complete without checking out Kyle’s recent Redditt AMA and of course, the 5 greatest Red Bull bike videos of all time. But remember, don’t try this stuff at home, for the love of God!

What did you think of Kaleidoscope? Are you a Kriss Kyle/BMX fan? Do you ride bikes yourself? Reach out to me on Twitter, or make a comment below.
