Paul Rudd Can’t Stop Tooting During ANT-MAN Junket

As anyone who’s been on either side of a movie press junket can tell you, they make for long and repetitive days. The interviewers have to try, in their 5-10 minutes, to ask things nobody else will ask, and the cast and crew being interviewed have to try find new ways to answer questions they’ve been asked a billion times because we journalists can only think of the same handful of questions. It’s a process. Actors especially will try to find anything to liven up their umpteenth interview of the day. And during a the Ant-Man junket, Paul Rudd found squeaky, tooty gold.

During an interview with Clevver Movies’ Erin Robinson, a little piece of comedy crept in when Rudd shifted in his leather chair and emitted the familiar sound of air passing through two pieces of USDA prime rump steak. Now, this is a professional actor who takes his craft very seriously… but he’s also a human being and no matter how old you are, the sound of nature’s sewage exhaust letting off steam was, is, and will always be funny. If you pretend that isn’t the funniest noise in any room filled with air and the ability to hear things, then you have lied to yourself.

Perhaps the best part of the video is just how amused Rudd seems to be with the whole thing, each and every time he fidgets in his chair and yet how stone-faced he attempts to be. Needless to say, the interview did not go the way Erin expected, in the best way possible.
