Next WORLD OF WARCRAFT Expansion to Be Revealed Next Week at Gamescom

Blizzard has announced that the next World of Warcraft expansion will be revealed during a Gamescom live-stream event next week. The game’s official Twitter account teased the unveiling, which is slated to happen on Wednesday, August 6 at 9am PT.

The most recent World of Warcraft expansion, Warlords of Draenor, was announced back at 2013’s Blizzcon, which is par for the course with Wow expansion reveals. It’s very interesting that Blizzard didn’t save this announcement for their own convention later this fall. Maybe this is a small unveiling in order to build some hype, eventually leading to a majority of the expansion’s details being fleshed out in November. Or, perhaps they have something even more paramount coming down the pipeline for Blizzcon (World of Starcarft, anyone).

What do you want to see in the next WoW expansion? If you’ve fallen off of your WoW addiction, is there anything that would get you back in the game? Share your thoughts on this in the comments below.
